Tools (TLS) began in Japan in 1995 and has grown to be a core surf brand with a diverse and innovative product range, while celebrating all aspects of beach culture & lifestyle everyone loves.TLS was born in Shonan, Japan’s surf culture capital, by founder Satoshi Sekino, a former pro surfer on the world tour, Japan’s ’91 Grand National Champion (JPSA) and one of Japan’s biggest surf industry supporters & leaders.Along with an extensive heritage in surfing, the spirit of TLS encompasses the commitment and pursuit of Japanese design and functionality for all our beach & surf life needs.Satoshi oversees all product development and design with his surf team riders and aspects from other innovative industries and leaders, to bring premium quality functional surf hardware to your surf life.“I founded TLS to create new products for a better surfing experience and to support our surfing culture, here in Japan, and the rest of the world.
